Paradox: Listening to Inner Voices in an Age of Instant Connectivity

ABSTRACT
In many schools today, faculty are encouraged to promote the concept of "inner voice" to their students. Using "inner voice," or "mindfulness" has been shown to promote reflection,enhance critical thinking,and to reduce stress. Students have better academic outcomes as a result of mindfulness.
