This study examines the situation of ISO 9000 implementation in Vietnamese manufacturing companies and its relationship with quality performance and customer satisfaction. Based on the data collected from 108 companies though a questionnaire survey in 2012, the authors investigate the changes in quality management practices and different performance dimensions before and after ISO 9000 implementation. The results of statistical results indicate that ISO 9000 implementation significantly improve various quality management practices and quality performance. In addition, this study contributes to quality management literature by highlight the significant contributions of ISO 9000 to performance of companies. |
